We've all had those frustrating mornings, haven't we? Staring at an unresponsive biometric machine, wishing we could just wave a magic wand and be inside. Traditional face scanners, especially, have been a constant source of annoyance, plagued by technical glitches and user-unfriendly interfaces.
We were tired of seeing people roll their eyes at the sight of a biometric scanner. We wanted to change that. Our mission was to turn the mundane act of clocking in into a delightful experience. We dreamed of a device that not only worked flawlessly but also put a smile on people's faces. A device that would make the daily office grind a little less...grindy.
Unmasking the pain points of biometric systems.
To truly revolutionize the biometric experience, we needed to understand the root of the problem. We delved deep into the world of biometric technology, dissecting the various market segments that relied on face scanners. From bustling corporate offices to serene coworking spaces, we meticulously analyzed existing solutions, identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
We didn't stop there. We conducted extensive interviews with employees from diverse backgrounds, gaining invaluable insights into their pain points and expectations. We even connected with innovative coworking spaces like 91Springboard and AMIGO to understand their unique needs and challenges. By empathizing with the end-user, we were able to uncover the true frustrations and desires that plagued the biometric experience.
We studied the existing biometric systems and identified the common pain points in them. These were slow and inaccurate recognition, frustrating user experience, etc.
A blueprint for a better biometric future.
Armed with these insights, we began to craft a blueprint for a better biometric future. We envisioned a device that was not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Identity X was born, a sleek and modern device that seamlessly integrated into any workspace.

Smart Sensing: Equipped with a cutting-edge camera module, active IR sensor, dot projector, and flood illuminator, Identity X ensures accurate face recognition, even in challenging lighting conditions.
Proximity-Activated Magic: A proximity sensor at the base of the device triggers instant activation, eliminating the need for unnecessary taps or button presses.
Human-Centric Voice Interaction: We wanted to ditch the robotic voiceovers and replace them with friendly and encouraging messages, brightening even the gloomiest of mornings.
Streamlined Registration: We aimed to streamline the registration process, making it as effortless as possible. By collecting necessary information upfront, we aimed to reduce the time spent at the device, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
