THE CHALLENGES
Humanising
Space Design
FOID faced a significant challenge: to disrupt the traditional space design industry, which often prioritized aesthetics over functionality and comfort. The studio recognized that many existing design firms focused solely on the space itself, neglecting the human element. This realization inspired FOID to adopt a human-centered approach, crafting spaces that not only look beautiful but also feel inviting and functional.
To authentically convey FOID's human centered approach to interior design, offering customized functionality with premium aesthetics, we began with the fundamental step of naming the studio. The name should reflect these qualities and values.

The search for a brand name that captured the essence of FOID proved to be a formidable challenge. After countless brainstorming sessions the team finally struck gold with "FOID." The name not only rolled off the tongue effortlessly but also evoked a sense of refinement and sophistication.
More importantly, "FOID" was a subtle acronym for "Finesse Of Interior Design," encapsulating the studio's commitment to crafting spaces that were both beautiful and functional.
DESIGNING THE LOGO

The ultimate symbol for space design is the key: simple yet incredibly sophisticated in its details.
As the primary element, the key has been thoughtfully designed to illustrate our desire to unlock stories through design, exploring their composition and purposeful intentions within the spaces FOID creates.
Defining
the brand

Identifying the
pattern
Inspired by the intricate details of the key logo, FOID's pattern design is a harmonious repetition of geometric shapes. The interlocking elements create a sense of rhythm and cohesion, while the subtle variations in color and texture add depth and visual interest.
This pattern, reminiscent of the interlocking pieces of a puzzle, symbolizes the way FOID seamlessly combines functional design with aesthetic appeal, creating spaces that are both intricate and inviting.
Store
Experience
To accelerate the footfall we decided to pitch for store experience design. Designs that enhanced the experience of the visitors in the store and in the nearby premise.
It made visitors feel entitled and redirected them to the store while enabling them to make informed decisions. The idea of tailored branding left the visitors with a great in-store experience and a big smile.
Seamless
navigation with clear signage
While delivering we prioritized accessibility in the design of both the store itself and the surrounding areas. This included the basement parking, entrance, lift etc. ensuring that the store was welcoming to all visitors.
Basement Columns: Informative wayfinders, guiding visitors through the basement level and directing them towards the lift to reach the FOID showroom.
Model Flat Branding: To enhance the impact we strategically placed standees and tent cards throughout the space. These displays effectively showcased the brand's unique selling points.
Basement Entrance: A hanging sign that catches peoples eye, while they are walking to or from their vehicle, creating memorability.
Primary Entrance: Visitors can easily spot the big floor name poster on one of the walls and tagline of FOID.
Spread the
word
To generate excitement and anticipation for the FOID store launch, we executed a comprehensive pre-launch marketing campaign. This included engaging social media posts to build awareness and generate buzz, as well as beautifully designed invitation cards sent to potential clients and industry influencers.
